For years I burnt many candles, I began to figure out my sneezing and some allergy reactions were a result of the chemicals used in different candles. I tried all kinds, even found out when a candle is labelled natural due to the wax type, it is likely scented with a fragrance oil, which I did not know is generally made up of chemicals. Out of curiosity and in search of a truly natural product I came across beeswax candles. I learnt how to make bee wax candles with NO additives. Eventually through research I began to scent my candles ONLY with true essential oils. Low and behold no sensitivities!!!!! From there my adventure has now taken me to only purchasing Manitoba beeswax from local producers, refining all the wax which allows me to ensure top color and quality while creating candles of personal blends for clients.
